Canopy Valle del General - Zip lines en Pérez Zeledón
Just 20 minutes from San Isidro at km119, on the road to San Jose, at the Mirador Valle del General.
This tour allows us to travel through the top of the cloud forest trees in an incredible way, since our canopy is located at 1600 meters above the sea level. You can also see the magnificent valley and watch birds.
The tour begins in Mirador Valle del General, always accompanied by two guides, when each person has the equipment already set, he is taken to the school cable. There the guides talk a little about the way to use the canopy. When this is done, we go to the platform #1, this is a 55 meter cable that goes to the platform #2. The next cable has 80 meters, and speed increases. In platform #3 we have to make a little hike of 30 meters until its platform #4. In here, the cable has 120 meters, and we find the highest elevation during the canopy. The next cable has 140 meters, and it is the fastest. The following cables are shorter 80 meters, and 60 meters. In the platform # 7 we find a height of 25 meters, and is here it where we practice rappelling or free fall.
When we finish the canopy adventure, we hike 200 meters until the inicial point. The duration of the tour is one hour approximately.
